- Jacobus (Jacob) was a popular name in colonial America and is the pseudonym of the blog author, an eleventh generation American whose family made frequent use of the name. The intent of this blog is to preserve pictures and information about various ancestors and other relatives of the author and is not meant to be a genealogical study of any branch of the family. Anyone wishing a copy of the author’s genealogy may request a copy at psjacobus@gmail.com. The information contained herein is not intended for public consumption but may be shared with other extended family members. Postings will be made randomly as information is discovered.
