From the top: Toddy and Dancing Bear at the 1939 World's Fair in New York City. It was estimated that 33 million Americans attended.
The second picture was taken in a mystery location. There is another one with the same scene but with Dancing Bear and another man who has not yet been identified.
The third picture shows Stuyvesant Schuyler and me taken at either Speculator or Caroga Lake. The Red Cross sign in the background did not offer a peek into the future but was a sign commonly used in those days to warn swimmers of sudden dropoffs at the beach.
The bottom picture shows the new family probably at 66 McClellan Avenue.
